to: my readers – life update

to: my readers

In a couple weeks I will be taking my fiancé and son to Taiwan to visit my family and for my family to meet the baby.

Keeping that in mind, my goal is to at least have one post up per week from now till I get back from Taiwan.

That being said, I have so many ideas for posts and hope that I can post more than one post a week.

I just wanted to update you all before I seem like I dropped off the face of the earth. I’m not, just going on a trip with my family and going to enjoy my experience.

Thank you for reading!

❤ Sarah

to: my readers – introducing tux

So, I have been a little bit MIA but this time, I have a good reason to be.

At 8:09am on November 10, 2015, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. He was 7lbs 2.6oz. Basically 7-8-9-10-11.  We named our little fella “Tux”. I’ll explain how we got to that name in another post.

I haven’t quite decided what my post schedule will be like or if my posts will make any sort of chronological sense but I wanted to post this now as he is officially one month old.

Here’s a picture we took when he was just 5 days old 🙂

PS: this is my 100th post. Can’t believe I have written that much already.

When I first got pregnant I thought, I could post a bit of baby stuff and some of the other stuff as well. Now that I am 39 weeks and 1 day  pregnant and haven’t posted anything since a long while back, I’ve come to realize and accept that my blog is going to change.  How is my blog going to change?

Well it will be more parent and baby-focussed. My tag line is and will remain “a little bit of therapy with a whole lot of life” because writing is my therapy and my life coming forward is going to be about becoming a mom and looking after a baby. I hope my readers will understand.

I’m not sure when posts will go up yet but for now, be warned, there will be tonnes of pregnancy and mommy and baby posts to come. I have saved a lot of ideas for posts and just haven’t gotten to them yet.
